The hall was chill with a tense air,
and those present all sat in complete silence.
Then there was Jia Yuanchun, with her lips slightly curled into a mirthless sneer.
And at the center of it all sat Jia Xichun, unsure of what to say next.
Jia Yuanchun	Well, everyone…
Jia Yuanchun, seated next to the Hierarch’s seat upon which Xichun sat, smoothly takes control of the situation and begins the assembly.
Jia Yuanchun	Honored heads of houses, lords of each family, their proxies, members, and...
She nods lightly, acknowledging our awkward presence.
Jia Yuanchun	And… little Xichun’s guests, whose stay here at… our H Corp. seems to be extending without a foreseeable end.
Gregor	Isn't she technically from Q Corp.? What’s up with her acting like she’s any less of an outsider than we are?

Jia Yuanchun	As we are all aware, venerable former Jia Mu has always discussed with and confided in me about the matters of the greatest import, the momentousness of which steered the very course of H Corp.’s prospects.

No one in the assembly, not a single representative from any families present, stepped up to point out how Jia Xichun’s swift actions were what finally repelled the outside forces that had marched right up to Hongyuan’s front yard…
… or how she deftly maneuvered her forces to quell the embers of war by quickly taking control of the chaos within Daguanyuan.
She hadn’t shown any glaring signs of incompetence since her ascension despite her relative inexperience, but…

Gregor	Of course, every Wing has a different Singularity, so this isn't really applicable to all cases. It's just that the former G Corp. found flat plains easier to maneuver in.
Sinclair	I feel like Daguanyuan could make a pretty good use of Hongyuan as a defensive fortress. Especially with its internal structure constantly shifting around... which the Heishou know and use very well.
Gregor	Exactly. This should explain why they were hesitating outside Daguanyuan—remember the Thumb fellas? The ones we met who were going in circles?
Jia Xichun	Not to mention how the Heishou all utilize the topography of Hongyuan differently. Even if an outsider were to get a read on how one of the branches maneuver around Hongyuan, as long as the twelve Heishou branches are standing, Hongyuan is unassailable.
